Explore
The world is not enough. Explore the life journeys (yes, emotions are also part of it; after all there are real people behind every business). Start an ideation keeping in mind that there are only good ideas at this stage. Let all your people take part in this idea-finding journey. Quality evolves sometimes with sheer quantity.
Prototype
Test your ideas at an early stage. Present them in a stakeholder-friendly manner, i.e. in their language. Take the chance to get unfiltered and honest feedback. Most important, let ideas fail and go if they are not appreciated by your stakeholders’ feedbacks; no matter how emotionally attached you are. In the end, only the market decides between success and failure. Create prototype after prototype until you’ve found a valuable product.
Realise
Eventually the numbers count. There is no success without a solid business case. And of course a sound marketing and sales approach. Sadly enough, no one is waiting for your product. It’s up to you to reach out to the world with your fanstastic new product.
